A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
For over 15 years I have been dedicated to bringing the benefits of health and wellness to others. Along with being a life-long athlete, my experience includes work as a cardiac rehabilitation specialist, personal trainer, manager of fitness facilities across the Southeast, and joyfully a youth soccer and softball coach. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science from the University of Pittsburgh and received certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, New York in integrative health and nutrition. I also received certification as a holistic health practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. But that just wasn’t enough! I needed to know more about how ones body can heal with the power of food! That lead to me to Cornell University where I graduated from eCornell with a degree in plant-based nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Foundation.
But we all know that we can immerse ourselves in the learning process, but ultimately my goal was to be the best practitioner and coach that I could be and ensure success to those that came to me for assistance. That lead me to Andrea Beaman, where I successful completed her New Healers and Master Coaching in Action programs; continuing education through IIN; and Living an Omtastic Lifestyle from Lisa Holland, owner of BellyGuru, LLC.
Most importantly, after a successful career in fast-paced corporate America, I am now following my heart and returning to my roots to help as many people as possible find increased wellness, health and vitality, both physically and emotionally. I am devoted to the practice of yoga and mediation, as well as regularly cross- and weight-training to ensure I continue to keep my mind, body and soul strong, happy and healthy!!!
